I refuse to use TurboTax and I won't be buying any new versions of Quicken for Mac. While I use Quicken 2006 for Mac, I have no intention of ever buying an Intuit product again. A long discussion covering the last two years of development can be found at macintouch There are reports that investments are not covered in the new Quicken for Mac. Issue 4: Quicken for Mac 2007 is not a universal binary. (I am not 100% sure of the details here, but this seems to be what is happening). Issue 3: Even if you decide you don't want to use any download features of the program, but just download your own qfx files from your bank and import the data into Quicken, Quicken will still try to connect to their own servers to see if you bank has paid them the "Quicken Tax." If your bank has not paid the quicken tax for Mac downloads, Quicken will not let you import the file you downloaded yourself.

David Fischer writes: "Their instructions for converting to direct Internet banking requires you to alter both MSIE and Netscape (they don't tell you how, nor does anyone in tech support know how) in order to download. Rob Hillman adds: "They suggested I use the Wells Fargo web site and manually import files. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you."
